中國在今屆奧運會大放光芒，取得五十一面金牌，身為中國人，自然值得高興。

保特(Bolt Usain)，憑著一百米短跑、二百米短跑及四乘一百米接力，替國家取得三面金牌。更厲害的，是三項比賽都能夠刷新世界紀錄！  

牙買加於地理位置上說是屬於北美洲的一部份，但一般會稱呼為“加勒比海島國的一個中美洲國家  ”，90%以上國民為非洲裔(請參考歷史書籍，不必細表)。 

牙買加不只盛產短跑冠軍、不只以出產甘蔗及藍山咖啡出名， 其實牙買加的音樂也是很出色的；我最印象深刻的一首牙買加歌曲，是由 Harry Belafonte 原唱的「 Jamaica Farewell  」，相信對喜歡民歌的朋友來說，一定十分熟悉這首歌曲。這首歌其實是一首傷心的情歌，主要講述一男子基於某些原因而不能留低於牙買加與他喜歡的少女相愛，男子於是感到十分傷心及無奈，幸好歌曲的節奏十分輕快，雖然歌詞略為傷感，但不失為一首百聽不厭的好歌。
